What a fun place to spend a day or two on Labor Day weekend! There's so much to see! Old steam engines, free locomotive rides, vintage print shop, parades, music, amazing food.
Great experience for the whole family. We loved seeing the old tractors and thrashers in action. The best part, once you pay admission almost everything else is free aside from food and souvenirs. The carousel, the large and small steam trains and amazing demonstrations are all free!! The folks who put this on do an amazing job and i would recommend visiting to anyone (besides people who are sensitive to smoke due to the coal burimg machines).
I went there as a date. This was the fifth time I've attended the Steam Threshers Reunion. Honestly, it's like spending the day on another world. This was the first time my date had been on a train. We also had the classic walking sticks made. I would return again. The Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion is fun for all ages!
Love this place and I love coming here every summer. This year the parade of tractors was a little disorganized from what it had been in past years, but it was still ok. The rest of the place was pretty sweet as well. The new construction equipment area was neat to see. Every time I come here I find something new to wander through.
If your kids like tractos and trains you will have a great time! They have an old fashion carousel too.
